Marie Grujicic

The beautiful, loyal, and determined Marie Grujicic-Delage began her life in Paris, but moved to the French Riviera in her youth to study theater, dance, and art in Nice at “Off Jazz” and in Cannes at “Rosella Hightower.” It is here that her passion was initially fueled to love anything creative and beautiful from fashion to food.

She performed professionally across Europe and became a certified Jazz dance teacher. After being hired as a soloist in the Parisian Cabaret “Crazy Horse Paris,” she moved to the United States to perform with the U.S. troupe “La Femme” at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It was in Las Vegas where Marie earned the opportunity to dance and perform for Cirque Du Soleil.

Marie began working as a Creative Director for Cirque Du Soleil for events such as Viva Elvis, Iris/One Drop L.A., Zarkana, Michael Jackson’s ONE, and most recently for the Monte-Carlo summer festival. Before Marie became a Creative associate, she performed and was the captain of the troupe for the Cirque Du Soleil “LIGHT” show. Now she is a Creative Consutant for Cirque du Soleil, and most recently was the creative associate to the director for the show “One Night for One Drop” which raised 6.5 million dollars for sub-saharan countries facing critical water issues.

After her time performing in Cirque Du Soleil Marie moved to Los Angeles, Ca. Upon arriving to LA Marie studied theater, on camera acting at the Margie Harber studio. She graduated from the Upright Citizen Brigade, passed admission audition for the Groundlings L.A., and became a SAG-AFTRA member. From acting to modeling, Maire has worked with some of Hollywood's biggest names and brands. From her work as a body-double for famous blondes from the likes of Heidi Klum to Charlize Theron, and Marie’s acting has led her to co-star in Fox’s “Glee” and alongside Ryan Gosling in “Gangster Squad.”

Her background has given her the opportunity to work with well known directors and photographers like Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Peter Lindbergh, Yu Tsai, and Dominique Issermann. All of these experiences have fueled Marie’s love and passion for the arts. Her artistry and professional career led her to gaining a permanent resident card in 2015 making her a US citizen. She is proud to have double nationality in France and the United States.

While dancing professionally Marie discovered Yoga, her practice really helped her discover subtle body awareness that dance didn't teach her. As she ended her performing career it was organic for this movement obsessed to continue teaching this practice that gave her so much joy and healed her mind from the turmoils of the entertainment industry and body from numerous injuries. Marie is now a E-RYT 500, based in LA and happily teaching for the most thought of wellness companies.

Marie is constantly training, researching and exploring new techniques, she holds certification 200hrs Hot yoga, 60 Power yoga with Bryan Kest, has completed her 300Hr with Noah Maze, and was mentored 100hrs by Schuyler Grant in the Wanderlust Vinyasa style.

She is passionate about helping her students grow their physical and spiritual practice and guide them toward their own yoga bliss as well as relieving the body of any tension and old patterns. Marie teaches Vinyasa Flow, along the years she developed her own class structure "awespiring flows" which invites you to free flow at times with an emphasis or organic, fluid almost dance like transitions.

“Awespire,” is more than just an interesting word to Marie. This idea of being in a “state of bliss while staying inspired” is her driving philosophy, like roots to the ground that she walks on. Her classes are fun, playful and infused with functional movement, dance and props play time.
